music for the new school year

Back for another school year at UGA. I've started playing guitar with my friend John McNabb. John plays drums. We're looking out for bassists and/or keyboardists.

It's fun music to play. It's sort of Black Keys-esque.

Hopefully we'll start playing around town soon, get some gigs with bands and opening for comedy shows.

I'll keep the blog posted.

hiatus broken... a little

I have completely and utterly neglected this blog. This semester is killing me with work and has forced me to be less ambitious with this project. More accurately, devoid of ambition.
I have written a few songs this semester. If you like indie music you should check out my myspace page at www.myspace.com/stonewalkerirvin. It's pretty decent stuff, or so I'm told.
Right now I'm editing a story about the Cox Center at the University of Georgia. It's off the chain.
Unfortunately that's all I can disclose at the moment. See you later Internet.

a change in plans...

Apparently my teacher wanted us to make a blog solely dedicated to our journalism class whereas I intended this site to be a home for all of my writings. Because of this fact I'm going to make a separate blog for my class and keep this one as my playground. Expect good things to come.

iBlog

This is my first foray into the world of blogging. I hope to keep this page updated fairly regularly with my writings, specifically with news stories for my News Writing 3410 class at UGA. I am hoping this endeavor will transcend its original conception as an assignment and become a home for all of my writings on the internet.
